It’s Solitaire that’s also a word game that teaches the
Bible!
Each card has a short phrase
in place of the rank (King, Queen, etc.). When those phrases are
put together in order, they form a Bible verse. With the hint
system and the variety of game selections, it can be as easy or
as challenging as you like. Scripture Solitaire is a fun way to
incorporate God’s word into your life!

FreeCell
Description
This is a
popular type of solitaire, with cells in which to place cards on a

Solitaire because it has all of the cards on screen at the same
time, and you have to understand the sequence.
Difficulty
Very hard.
Object
To move all
the cards to the foundation piles.
Setup
4 foundation
piles (top right) are built up in suit from last to first.
4 free cells (top left) act as storage locations. Only one card is
allowed per cell.
8 tableau piles (below foundations and cells) are built down by
alternate color from first to last.
7 cards dealt to the first 4 tableau piles, 6 cards to the rest.

smaller than the number of open cells. You may impose this
restriction on yourself if you wish.

Actions

onto another card with the same phrase regardless of suit,
removing both from play.
You can use the top 4 piles as storage places after they are
empty.
Notes
Scan the piles
of 7 and 4 cards for duplicates and triplicates of the same verse
before you begin. Plan on how you will remove them so you won't

Checkerboard
Description
The cards are
laid out like a checkerboard, and you build the verse in order,
regardless of suit. An unusual aspect of this game is the ability
to "peek" at cards that are face down. This makes it a little like
"concentration" because you have to remember where cards are.
Difficulty
Somewhat hard.
Object
To turn all
cards face up.
Setup
16 tableau
piles are built down regardless of suit, starting anywhere in the
sequence.
The cards are dealt in a 4 by 4 checkerboard with alternating face
up, face down piles.
The face up piles are dealt a single card each.
The remainder of the deck is dealt to the face down piles.
Actions
Move one card
at a time.
You may pick up a face down card to view it and place it back onto
the pile.
An empty pile may be filled by any card.

What people
have said:
"By the
way....the John 3:16 solitaire is so amazing....I already knew the
verse but by doing the solitaire...it is burning it into my
heart....this is a wonderful tool for Scripture Memorization.
The Word of God is alive....and you know what......by getting the
verse in pieces and not being able to complete each sequence I am
able to see the verse more clearly and the solitaire becomes
a mini Bible Study. And another thing ......this
can be a witnessing tool to use with your unsaved friends who
enjoy solitaire. The Word of God and the Holy Spirit does
the work!!!! God bless all of you who produce this
Spirit inspired product!!!"
"I’d just as
soon use a fun tool like "SS" to do my study as anything else I’ve
come across yet!"
